Connections

Vehicle data connections that bring every source into WordPress

Connections brings all your vehicle data connections onto one screen. Link the AutoScout24 API, mobile.de and carcuro, or import from a file, an automatic feed or an e-mail inbox, each with its own status and all on the same central import schedule.

One hub, every source

One place for all your vehicle data connections

Whatever way your inventory reaches you, Connections handles it on one screen. A dealership that already syncs the AutoScout24 API can add a mobile.de account, drop in a supplier CSV and watch an e-mail inbox at the same time. One screen becomes the home for all your vehicle data connections, each listed side by side with its own status badge.

AutoScout24 API

Connect the official AutoScout24 API with your seller credentials for a live, scheduled vehicle sync with no listing cap.

mobile.de

Connect a mobile.de account so its listings sync into the same native WordPress inventory on the central schedule.

carcuro

Connect carcuro with a company token. It imports and keeps your vehicles in sync exactly like the AutoScout24 connector.

File upload

Upload a CSV, XML, Excel, JSON or ZIP file. A supplier export or a spreadsheet of stock becomes native vehicles in a few clicks.

Automatic feed

Point Connections at an HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, server folder or cloud share link and the file is fetched and imported on schedule.

E-mail inbox

Watch an IMAP inbox for the stock files a supplier mails you, so an attachment that lands in the mailbox is imported automatically.

Map once, import safely

A saved mapping and a required dry-run before anything is written

Every file source is matched to your vehicle fields once, then reused on every run. Before the first real import, a dry-run shows exactly what would be created, updated or rejected, so a new feed never writes surprises into your live inventory.

Column mapping

Match the source columns to your vehicle fields on a clean two-column screen, with an AI assisted auto-map for a quick first draft. The mapping is saved and reused on every later import from that source.

Required dry-run

A file import stays locked until a dry-run has run. The preview reports how many records are valid and how many rows would be rejected, so you commit the import only once the result looks right.

Clean data on the way in

Encoding is repaired from Windows-1252 to UTF-8 and multi-line CSV cells are parsed safely, so accents and long descriptions survive the import intact.

Export and migration

Full-field export for a clean round-trip between sites

Connections also exports your inventory with every vehicle field, using the canonical AutoScout24 field names as column headers. An export from one site can be re-imported on another, so moving a catalogue between a staging and a live site, or between two dealerships, stays lossless.

Export All fields · canonical headers
Import on another site Staging → Live
248 imported 0 fields lost

All fields included

The export contains the complete vehicle record, not just a summary, so nothing is dropped when the data leaves the site.

Canonical headers

Column headers follow the canonical AutoScout24 field names, so the file maps straight back in on the next site with no guesswork.

Lossless migration

Export here, import there. The round-trip keeps a full catalogue intact when you move it between a staging site and a live site.

What makes the connections dependable

These details keep your vehicle data connections predictable, secure and easy to operate. Every connector is optional, and you can still add vehicles yourself in the WordPress plugin backend.

A status for every source

Each connection shows whether it is connected and active, so you can see the health of every source at a glance and fix the one that needs attention.

One central schedule

Every source, from the AutoScout24 API to an e-mail inbox, runs on the same import schedule you set under Import and Limits. No separate timers to manage.

Credentials stored encrypted

API keys, tokens and inbox logins live in Connections and are stored encrypted at rest, kept out of the general settings and never shown again.
